Thank you for your interest in joining FRPI through membership!
Individuals may join the Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics Institute (“FRPI”) through applying for annual membership to the organization. Annual memberships are available to individuals who are employed by companies that either own or supply products to Owners of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (“FRP”) process equipment. Each individual who submits an application for annual membership must meet the requirements of one (1) of the membership classes described below. Please note that FRPI reserves the right to make the final judgment on which class of membership an individual qualifies for. Classes include:
Class A – Equipment Owners and Engineers
Equipment Owners are those individuals who are employed by a company that operates fiberglass reinforced plastic chemical process equipment. Engineers are those individuals who are employed by an engineering firm that performs engineering services on behalf of Equipment Owners and is not a Manufacturer or Consultant.
Class B – Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Equipment Manufacturers
Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Equipment Manufacturers are those individuals who are employed by a company that has an FRPI Certified Laminating Process.
Class C – Raw Material Suppliers
Raw Material Suppliers are those individuals who are employed by a company that provides resin, catalyst, reinforcement or other related laminating materials that go directly into the manufacture of FRP laminates.
Class D – Consultants
Consultants are those individuals who are employed by a company that primarily supplies advice, statistics, reports or other consultative services to the FRP industry only.
